These are the official terms & conditions for participation in Wētā Workshop - Fan Expo (the “Contest”). By entering, you agree to the following terms, forming a contract between you (the entrant) and Wētā Workshop Limited, a New Zealand-based company and the promoter of this Contest. 

When you sign up for the Contest, you must use your real name.  You promise us that all information you provide when you sign up is complete and accurate. 

To enter, fill in the entry form with your information. By doing so, you will sign up to receive email newsletters from Wētā Workshop. Subscribing is required for a valid entry. 

If you are under 18 your parent or legal guardian must provide their consent, and must agree to these Rules and ensure you follow them.  Otherwise we may disqualify you from the Contest and/or collecting any prizes.

Prize includes: 

The chance to win 1 of 2 prizes of 500 Wētā Dollars during the promotional period. The first prize will be drawn in June 2026 and the second prize will be drawn in October 2026. 

  • 1st Prize to be drawn in June 2026  
  • 2nd Prize to be drawn in October 2026 

The prize is a voucher that is redeemable for the value of 500 Wētā Dollars which is the equivalent of 500 US Dollars to be used on any purchases made from www.wetanz.com  

Important:  

  • The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.  
  • Only one entry per person. 

Prize draw:  

The winner will be selected by certified random draw on or before 30th June and 30th October. Wētā Workshop will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner by email. If the winner does not confirm their availability by 15th July and 15th November, the prize will be forfeited and redrawn. 

Wētā Workshop may disqualify entries that are fraudulent, misleading, or in breach of these rules.

Your personal information will only be used by Wētā Workshop, to run this promotion and to send you marketing updates about their products, services, and future promotions. 

Wētā Workshop will delete your personal information on request. Please note that requesting deletion of your personal information prior to completion of the competition may affect your eligibility.
